Creditwrench's credibility continues to dwindle

On numerous consumer websites, such as quatloos, Creditwrench CEO Billie Bauer continues to evade questions about the credit repair scam that he operates.

The illegal activities of CREDITWRENCH continue

Today, in his ongoing efforts to intimidate, harass, and stalk, CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer admitted to violating 18 U.S.C 2724 et al.

Known as the Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA), this Federal Law allows a private cause of action against someone who has obtained personal information from MVD databases without the individuals consent. It also allows for criminal penalties.

CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer admitted to this illegal activity. Most likely due to his ignorance of the law.

Does this sound like someone you would want to seek advice from when you are in need of help?

CREDITWRENCH's legal knowledge

The extent of CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer's legal knowledge, as has been shown here and elsewhere, involves shouting the phrase VALIDATE THE DEBT, VALIDATE THE DEBT, over and over to a collector calling about a debt he already knows he owes.

He obviously acquired his vast legal knowledge from one of the popular internet credit message boards.

More bad advice from CREDITWRENCH

This was posted on a message board today.

Quite clearly it involves a number of legal issues, including whether there was a will, a trust, a living trust, etc. Did the partners have a legal entity, a common law marriage, etc. Does the state they live in recognize any of the above? What are the state's statutes on fraudulent conveyences, power of attorney, etc.

The scenario given by the poster is an extremely complicated legal matter that will involve, at the very least, probate law, criminal law, corporate law, et al. It will involve numerous document reviews and personal interviews. There is no attorney in the world that would attempt to advise on this matter based on this posting. My advice was to seek a local probate attorney for advice.

What is CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauers advice?

there are untold numbers of very competent practicing attorneys actively participating in such forums as this one

He truly believes that an attorney would post advice on this very complicated legal matter on a message board. Even one of the shyster ambulance chasing attorney's he's use to dealing with wouldn't touch this one on a message board.

CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer advising to accept legal counsel on an internet message board regarding the above matter is extremely dangerous. See what kind of advice you could expect as a CREDITWRENCH student? Of course this advice is given by someone who believes the statute of limitations for a cause of action on his own defaulted Lowes credit card is 3 years.

This blog's impact on CREDITWRENCH posts

This blog continues to yield positive results in eliminating the false and misleading information that was being propogated throughout the internet by CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer

One only needs review posts since the establishment of this blog.

Previously, on debt related message boards, CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer's behavior had gone unchecked and his posts consisted of his uninformed interpretation of the FDCPA, FCRA, and even state statutes.

Today, his posts, even on his own board, consist of cuts and pastes of information found on other sites.

Uncle Normie has obviously curtailed CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauers ability to mis-inform consumers as to what the law states.

Creditwrench continues to lose face

A week ago, a poster by the name of rfidgary posed the following question to CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer on his own message board:

Bill.....ever have any dealings with this firm............think they have one of my accounts.

Love, Beal & Nixon, P.C.,.......

As of today's date, CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer has not answered this question on his own message board; along with many others. CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer is apparently too preoccupied with posting pictures of sheep on other message boards to address questions on his own board.

CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer is obviously unable to provide a potential student with a simple yes or no answer. That should give some insight into whether one should consider paying him for any services. Or, better yet, the lack thereof.

Creditwrench's lack of credibility

Yesterday in a conversation with CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer, he accused Uncle Normie of violating Blogger's Terms of Service.

When challenged to support his accusations with factual evidence, he failed to do so. Not surprising though since it is CREDITWRENCH's standard MO to make wild accusations then fail to support them.

CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer stating that I am in violation of Bloggers TOS is false and misleading.

CREDITWRENCH and source material

Yesterday, in an internet post, CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer revealed how he obtains legal information. Is it state or federal statute? No. Is it case law? No. Is it even an opinion from a judge or a qualified government representative? Again No.

So besides England's Magna Carta, which he has stated is in full force and effect on credit related matters in the United States, what did CREDITWRENCH CEO reveal yesterday as his source of legal information?

An Attorney's Web Site!!!!!!

As anyone with even a 6th grade education knows, anyone can publish a web site and claim anything they want. The CREDITWRENCH website itself is a perfect example that any idiot can publish false, misleading, and fraudulent information anytime they want, and claim to be whatever they choose to be.

Any legitimate attorney's web site will carry a disclaimer that you shouldn't rely on it for legal advise, similar to the disclaimer you will find on this blog.

Why is that? Because any situation regarding matters of law has its own unique set of facts. Whether it's a matter of contract law, criminal law, business law, etc. something as simple as a single unique word can influence a court decision. Just as a doctor will not recommend a course of treatment without first seeing a patient, no attorney will offer legal advise without first reviewing the facts.

Uncle Normie cites applicable statute and case law to support his positions, CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer cites the Magna Carta and an attorney's web to support his.

CREDITWRENCH and the law part 211

CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer made the following claim on his website relative to how the creditwrench method works in correcting credit reports:

All you will be doing is checking your credit reports to see that
each and every entry is favorable and if not, asking the credit
bureaus to verify each and every unfavorable report one by one.
The laws that you will be using when you ask them to investigate
were created centuries ago and have been in full force and effect
ever since. They are not new laws created by the FTC, but laws
that were put into effect by the Magna Carta back in England

Anyone with even a 6th grade education knows that the US was not subject to any English Law upon the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Perhaps CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer belives that this country's 4th of July celebrations are in honor of the Queen of England. Not much of a patriot, now is he?

CREDITWRENCH and collection calls

Today on this message board CREDITWRENCH CEO Billie Bauer stated that he receives two or three calls a day, on average, from collectors.

If you're seeking help to eliminate collectors calling you, CREDITWRENCH is obviously not for you.

CREDITWRENCH and more misleading information

While browsing the CREDITWRENCH message board today, I ran across this bit of false and misleading information that CREDITWRENCH CEO Bill Bauer provided one of the posters:

Quote:
When Sherman puts the SOL on a credit report as 4/1/04 (actually
its 3/1/03), is it a violation every time they do this or is it collectively
just one violation?Bob

To this question, CREDITWRENCH CEO Bill Bauer responded with:

It is a separate violation every time they do it if you file a new lawsuit on them every time they do it. If you don't do that then they are collectively just one violation.

The above is totally false and misleading.

There are numerous violations, and they commit new ones everytime they mis-report, irrespective of whether or not suit is filed.

Assuming they are reporting to all 3 bureau's, every reporting involves at least 12 FDCPA violations and 6 FCRA violations. The FDCPA violations are separate causes of action from the FCRA violations, and the FCRA violations are not limited to $1,000 per suit like the FDCPA violations are.

CREDITWRENCH CEO Bill Bauer stating that unless a suit is filed, no further violations occurred is false and misleading.

CREDITWRENCH offline

CREDITWRENCH CEO Bill Bauer was noticeably absent from internet postings for the last week or so. Quite out of character for him.

My sense is that, because of his recent financial difficulties, his ISP disconnected him. I say this because, as quickly as he left, he came back online the 1st of the month. That's when he gets his social security check.

CREDITWRENCH CEO Bill Bauer can't manage his own financial affairs; his advice can't possibly help others.
